This year Mission Services of Hamilton switched its commercial insurance to Dan Lawrie Insurance Brokers. We were extremely pleased with the process, which involved a detailed analysis of our organization and its insurance needs, and uncovered some very important gaps and risks in our previous commercial insurance program.

The proposal from Dan Lawrie Insurance Brokers was very professional and comprehensive, and it was a great pleasure to meet with Bob Lawrie, Paul Christie and Aaron MacFarlane. The switch over was smooth, and the end result was that Mission Services of Hamilton obtained a much better commercial insurance exactly tailored to its unique needs, at 93% of the cost of our previous insurance package. I just wanted to reach out to you to recognise the work that Katherine Groom has put in to provide us with the best service. For the last year, I never was left without any service from her side either it is late evening or weekend. From time to time she has also done stuff for us after hours so that I am not left with no choice after 5 pm.

It has been a pleasure to work her. In other words, I would say that we have renewed our policy with her as well just because of her service. Yes insurance price does matter but at the same time, service plays an equal role in our business as well. She understands that from time to time, we might need a quick answer so that we do not lose business and she has been helping us without any hesitation.

I do let her know that I am happy with her service from time to time but I thought it is a good idea to reach out to you as well and recognize Katherine for her hard work and sincerity towards her work.
